Circuit Steward

I was born and bred in Carlisle and was very keen on sport from an early age. Representing the junior and senior school at football and senior school at cricket (captained the cricket team) athletics, swimming, Sport played a huge part in my adolescent years. I started work with the NWEB as an indentured apprentice and worked there until they made me an offer I couldn’t refuse!!

Met and married Valerie and our family grew quite quickly. With twins, boy and girl single girl and then triplet girls. As the family grew in age we also fostered two girls who were coming to us for two week and both stayed for 8 year.

I love looking after my grandchildren. I am also a Street Pastor, puppeteer and enjoy being a part of Newtown Methodist Church and the wider circuit.
